What the platform provides
ConnectLawyers.in provides tools to describe legal needs, discover independent lawyers, submit applications, exchange messages and manage case-related activity. The platform itself is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation. Creating an account or receiving an application does not create a lawyer–client relationship.
Accounts and access
Use accurate account information and an email address you control. Keep passwords and verification codes private. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. Do not impersonate another person, register as a lawyer without appropriate credentials or use an account to mislead others. Contact support if you believe your account has been compromised.
Independent professional engagement
Before appointing a lawyer, discuss qualifications, conflicts, scope of work, fees, taxes, expenses, timelines and termination arrangements. Put the engagement in writing. Lawyers are responsible for their advice and professional conduct. A verification status reflects a platform review process and is not a guarantee of competence, current standing, availability or a successful result.
Case posting and confidentiality
Submit only information you are permitted to share. Posted case information may be used in discovery and application workflows; avoid including sensitive identifiers in initial summaries. Use appropriate channels for confidential documents after discussing confidentiality with your lawyer. Do not assume that every interaction on the platform is legally privileged.
AI output and matching
AI-generated summaries, translations, questions and suggested matches are aids for organising information. They can be incomplete or incorrect. Match scores are not professional endorsements. Review generated content and obtain independent legal advice before acting on it. The service is not an emergency response channel and does not track your legal deadlines for you.
Payments, credits and subscriptions
Where paid features are enabled, review the amount, currency, duration and included usage before confirming a purchase. Platform credits and subscriptions are distinct from a lawyer’s professional fees. Additional legal work or expenses should be agreed directly with the lawyer. Do not proceed if the checkout amount differs from the price you expected; contact support with the order details. Refer to the Refund Policy for payment problems and cancellation requests.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful content, threaten or harass others, distribute malware, submit fraudulent credentials, scrape personal data, bypass access restrictions or interfere with the service. Do not use the platform to promote guaranteed legal outcomes or misleading professional claims. Report suspected misuse with relevant account or case identifiers.
Your content and platform materials
You retain rights you hold in your submissions. By using a feature, you permit the processing and display necessary to deliver that feature to its intended recipients. Do not upload content that infringes another person’s rights. Platform branding and interface materials may not be copied or presented as your own without permission or an applicable licence.
Availability and account closure
Features may be interrupted for maintenance, network failures or security incidents. Keep your own copies of important records and deadlines. You can request account closure from account settings. Access may be restricted where misuse, security concerns or legal obligations require it; contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.
Disputes and limitations
Contact support about platform problems and contact your lawyer about their professional services. Provide the relevant case or transaction identifier and the outcome you are seeking. No provision is intended to remove rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. These terms do not promise a result in a legal matter or reimburse every loss associated with use of the service.
Contact and revisions
Questions about these terms can be sent to admin@connectlawyers.in. Material changes should be reviewed before using the affected feature. The revision date on this page helps you identify the version presented to you.
