Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small records a browser can send to a website. Local storage and session storage keep information on your device. This policy uses “browser storage” to cover these technologies, because the app uses local storage even where no traditional cookie is set.
Authentication and security
The app stores authentication and account information to keep you signed in, and an activity timestamp to support inactivity logout. Signing out clears authentication records through the app’s logout flow. Avoid shared browser profiles and sign out after using a shared device.
Preferences and consent
Language choices and the browser-storage notice choice are stored so they can be remembered between visits. The connectlawyers_audience cookie remembers your client or lawyer preference for 180 days; it uses SameSite=Lax and is marked Secure on HTTPS. These preferences do not track you across other websites. Local storage normally remains until the app removes it or you clear site data in your browser.
Optional tracking
The current app does not include advertising, session-recording or third-party behavioural analytics scripts. There is no optional tracking to activate through the notice. If those purposes are added later, the choices and this policy need to be updated before optional tracking starts.
Payment providers
Starting a Razorpay payment loads the provider’s checkout, which may use its own storage for payment functionality, security and fraud prevention. Review the provider’s privacy information at checkout. Essential payment processing is separate from consent to optional advertising or analytics.
Changing browser settings
Use Cookie settings in the footer to reopen the notice. You can also remove site data or block storage in your browser’s privacy controls. Doing so can sign you out, reset your language and notice preferences, or interfere with account features. Your choice is specific to the browser and device; another device can display the notice again.
Contact
For storage or privacy questions, email admin@connectlawyers.in. Describe the browser and the problem, but do not send authentication tokens or screenshots containing passwords.
